We are the Holmes and Mohler family and we simply love our community. The atmosphere, friendly people, and family-centered focus keep us tied to the Seville area. As residents of San Tan Lakeside Estates, we enjoy outdoor time, our fabulous neighbors, and a little lake time as well. We are a blended family with six kids between us. Yes, we often get told that we are the Brady Bunch! Jeremy has two boys Carter (10) and Camden (7) Holmes and I have four children Justin (22), Lauren (20), Brandon (18), and Brooke (15) Mohler. There is always something going on in our home and quiet is not a word that we are familiar with, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Jeremy is an Arizona native, born and raised in Chandler where he graduated from Chandler High School, Arizona State University, and received his MBA from Grand Canyon University. He has worked for Edward Jones for the last 14 years in their corporate office in Tempe as a Field Supervision Director overseeing offices in California. He is a die-hard sports fan and can be heard on Saturdays rooting for his Sun Devils and on Sunday for the AZ Cardinals. He is a great hands-on dad with his two boys and has opened his heart to four additional kids. He’s had the pleasure of helping raise two teenage girls as an extra bonus. He’s won a
medal of honor in my eyes for sure!
I never know where to say I am from as my Dad was a pilot for the Navy so moves around the country were always in our cards. I moved to Oklahoma and attended high school, college, and medical school all in Oklahoma, so that is my adopted home state. Although Jeremy may be rooting for his Sun Devils on Saturday, I can be heard screaming, shouting, and cheering on my OU Sooners. I moved to the Gilbert area in 2006 and founded Desert Shores Pediatrics. It is the best decision I have ever made. The families in our area are simply a pleasure to care for and it as such an honor to help serve the children of our community.
The true importance of our lives, although, is defined by our children.
Justin is attending Kansas State University and majoring in golf course turf management with a plan to earn his master’s degree as well. What an amazing view he will have each day as he enters the workforce!
Lauren is attending the University of South Carolina as a public health pre-med major and is absolutely loving her new southern lifestyle.
Brandon is a senior at Basha High School, plays Varsity Baseball, and maintains a 4.4 GPA. Can you tell I’m a little proud? I am excited to see where his college path leads him next fall.
Brooke is my youngest and although she is 15 and a sophomore at Basha, she will always be my baby. She is an amazing young woman with a compassionate heart and a talented cheerleader with plans to cheer collegiately someday.
Carter is our Mr. Personality and each day this kid makes us laugh! He is in the 4th grade at Riggs Elementary and loves football, Fortnite, running club, Fortnite, reading, and did I mention Fortnite?
Last but certainly not least is our very special guy Camden. Camden is wheelchair bound and nonverbal but can make an immediate impact on a room with a smile that is full of electricity. Camden was born with an extremely rare genetic leukodystrophy called Pelizaeus-Merzbacher disease. Despite his limitations, he is the happiest kiddo and loves pushing his trucks around the house. His favorite time of the day is when we say family grace and he hears the word “Amen.” His face lights up and he squeals with delight. I think we all could learn a lot from Camden.
